Next Review Clinic date announced

On June 28 Michelle Wohl, VP of Marketing at Client Services at Revinate, and I held our first Review Clinic. Online reputation management is a hot issue these days, and businesses have woken up to the importance of responding to reviews, but there’s so much at stake it’s daunting.

Our goal was to help hotels respond to reviews by analyzing select reviews submitted by listeners. We weren’t sure what to expect, but the response from the hotel and lodging community has far exceeded our expectations.

So we’ll be turning this into a monthly clinic—or at least we have committed to one more date for now: Thursday, July 28 at 9:00 Pacific Time. Click here to register.

You can submit a review to be considered for analysis (whether or not you have responded), join the webinar to discuss your review if it’s selected, or simply listen in and learn from others.

The reviews we select are used a learning model to discuss the basic principles of responding. For example, in Review Clinic 1 we discussed how to respond to noise complaints, bedbugs allegations and a review calling front desk staff “yahoos”, as well as reviews with mixed feedback and all-positive feedback.

If you missed the webinar, you can still view if by on the above image. For the slide deck click here. And check out the Revinate blog for follow-up posts and other helpful information concerning online reputation management.

Very interesting content and great to give feedback on 'real world' situations.
I have a technical question, as I also present webinars using GoToWebinar. I notice that you were writing comments beside the reviews, as you made your points. Were you doing this live using GTW or in another way? Or on your Keynote?
Thanks, and keep up the good work…  Ken

    • Hi Ken, We use a PowerPoint presentation during our webinars, much like with a live presentation before an audience. So we prepare the slides in advance with comments and use the Customize Animation function so that each line in the Analysis section appears with the click of a mouse. Hope that answers your question? Glad you enjoyed the webinar!
